A ballet-inspired class, Barre mixes elements of Pilates, Dance, Yoga & functional training. The moves are choreographed to motivating music, but you definitely don’t need to be a dancer to enjoy or benefit from a Barre class!

In each energising and targeted workout, you’ll use the Barre & we’ll often incorporate exercise equipment such as mini-balls & small hand weights, always holding your body in positions to ‘feel the burn’.

You’ll tone your body & burn fat, as you improve your range of motion & overall flexibility.

It’s the most effective workout if you are looking to target your bum, tum &/or thighs!

Kettlebells offer a different kind of training using dynamic moves targeting almost every aspect of fitness – endurance, strength, balance, agility and cardio endurance.

The idea is to hold the kettlebell in one or both hands and go through a variety of exercises. Some movements have you changing the weight from hand to hand as the weight swings up or as you move laterally, requiring you to stabilise the body and engage the core in a whole new way.

Other moves require power from the legs and hips to move the weight, giving you integrated whole body movements that are often missing with other types of training.

Kettlebells combined with TRX add an entirely different dimension to training, as they target our deep internal core stabilisers.

You have to work harder to maintain balance or centre of gravity with the kettlebell, and the TRX encourages a plank position for the exercises. You’re in a moving plank the entire time. These are excellent tools to challenge yourself and keep your muscles guessing!

Circuits + Coffee

For the more mature exerciser, our circuit class offers a great combination of cardio & strength training. You’ll do a wide variety of exercises, some with weights, some with small equipment such as the resistance band, small ball, magic circle.

It’s an enjoyable class & you can work at your own pace…our Instructor will keep you going!! You’ll get your heart rate up & increase your flexibility. After all that you can enjoy a coffee (or tea!) with the class!
